The princess party was a success! Now I will try to find time to edit the photos my sister in law and I took so that I can share all the other fun decorations and food I made for the party. But in the meantime, I will share a quick pic of the cute breakfast […]
Well, it is day two of party prep, and today I made the circle banner that I plan to hang up outside between the trees and the house for my daughters princes party. See the gift bags I made yesterday here. To make this super simple banner/streamer, I used my 1.75″ hole punch and some […]
My furniture painting and makeovers have taken a brief hiatus. I was sick last week, and this week I realized that my daughters 4th birthday party is rapidly approaching, so my craft time has shifted focus. I am now using the bits of time here and there to finish up some of the crafty projects […]
Today I finally had time to get the Halloween decorations out and put up. Thanks to Target’s $1 bin last year and this year, I was able to set up a pretty scary cute mantel. I love how the gray sunburst mirror looks like a spider’s web when surrounded by all the other Halloween decor.
Lucky you! I have yet another DIY sunburst mirror project for you. And this one is inexpensive too! To recreate this look you will need the following supplies: 50 paint stir sticks from Home Depot – I asked super nicely and the employee gave them to me, but you could also just pick up a […]
I promised you a post about my little laundry room makeover and here it is. I know that I took a before phot of the space, but honestly I was just too lazy to go wading through the photos on all my memory cards to find it. But let’s just say it looked a little […]
In addition to all the furniture painting I have been doing, I have also been preparing for my daughters 4th birthday party. Given, it isn’t until Halloween, but with a baby and a business to take care of, I have to start prepping early! Madeline’s last few birthday parties have been a hansel and gretel […]
I am super excited to show you all this little table that I finished a few days ago. Unfortunately I forgot to take a before photo because I was just excited to get started! But let me just say that it was cream with a blue French country floral motif on the top and it […]
The laundry room is often the most neglected room in a house, and ours was no exception. The spark that fueled my laundry room redo was half caused by Pinterest and seeing other people’s cheap laundry room updates, and half caused by my creation of the art that is the subject of this post. I […]
I picked up another chair at the thrift store on Labor Day weekend. This guy was regularly $7.99, but the whole was on sale for 30% off, so that brought it down to $5.60! This chair was a pretty easy redo because the seat and back pieces had a wood frame in them that screwed […]
Remember how I told you the other day that I found two things from Goodwill the other day. Well, the first one that I showed you was the little chair that I painted yellow and teal. The second was a bronze plate charger that was originally from Target and was being sold for $2.99. Now, […]
